I'm showing my dad how blogs work

Hey guys, indulge me–my folks are in town and I'm trying to get my dad to create his own blog. Probably something having to do with his love for Dennis Kucinich--that guy really knows where to get the best pot.

Two Please

So I was driving from Kansas City to Denver yesterday, and it was a fairly pleasant yet boring ride. I wasn't super hungry but thought it would be a good idea to just get some fries from McDonald's. Plus I was about 6 hours in, so stopping and going in would break up the last leg of the trip. I ordered a medium fry and a medium Sprite. (Which, if I were saying this in a British accent would sound like "Meedjum.")

I waited patiently for my little paper bag, and filled up my cup and got some napkins. I really like to have Sweet and Sour sauce with my fries - but only @ McDonald's. It's delicious - try it if you haven't. Then I said "Oh, can I get a couple sweet and sours with that?" and the lady was all "I can give you one." Quizzically, I replied, "Just one?" "yeah, I'd have to charge you for the 2nd," she said. I asked how much and it was something like 25 cents, which is the stupidest thing ever. There was a whole tray full of them behind her and I'm pretty sure they hadn't hit their maximum S&S limit on a cold New Year's day in the middle of nowhere. So there was a guy next to me ordering, and I said "Well what about him?" She said he could have one as well, because his order came with fries. So, being the genius that I am, I asked him if he was going to have a sweet and sour packet. He said no, so I told her happily that I could just have his. She finally gave in and I got my 2 packets. It was great. Who charges for extra packets? Ugh.

This is a really dumb story and I know I typed it out all grammatically incorrect and stuff, but I'm tired and can't focus on work.

Syrup

I smell like syrup from eating at iHop, and I probably will for the rest of the day.
